Sammy Lee return would be great news for Liverpool
IT is great news to hear Sammy Lee seems to be heading back to Anfield.
I believe every manager needs a good number two - in my days at Tranmere Kevin Sheedy was a great asset to me - and everyone would welcome Sammy's return if it happens.
Sometimes you do need another opinion when you're in charge.
At times you don't see the wood for the trees and having someone you trust alongside you is important. Sammy has a wealth of experience and ability and is Liverpool through and through.
It would be a great appointment.
