LIVERPOOL new boy Robbie Keane believes Fernando Torres will be even better this season.

While most pundits talk about the second campaign being the most difficult, Keane is convinced the sensational Spaniard is too good to have any problems.

Speaking exclusively in this week's official LFC Magazine he says: "I think he'll get better this year, which is great news for Liverpool and got to be a worry for the rest of the division.

"For me Torres has just got to be about the best striker in the world at the moment. You saw how good he was at the European Championships, and I'm sure scoring the winning goal in the final will have done his confidence the world of good.

"I'm looking forward to playing alongside him - of course I am. Torres is the kind of striker that anyone would want to play alongside.

"He makes great runs, holds the ball up well to allow support to get around him and when he gets the chance in front of goal he's deadly.

"I can't wait for the real stuff to start and hopefully we'll work well together.

"I don't see any reason why we won't be a successful partnership but the manager's got a lot of options in attack so I'm really going to have to hit the ground running."

See this week's official LFC Magazine for exclusive Keane interview and more.

To celebrate what could potentially be the most prolific partnership in the Premier League, this week's LFC Magazine is giving away a FREE giant double-sided Keane and Torres poster.

Plus every edition of issue 313 includes a FREE copy of Liverpool's official matchday programme, This Is Anfield, and is packed with all the usual interviews and features.
