Time to review the positives

With Liverpool tragically losing Alonso in the summer, getting off to a dodgy start to the season, having to endure the ongoing mis-management of the American owners and the recent announcement that the much needed new stadium wont be built for almost 10 years, it's understandably difficult to focus on the positives. However, perhaps considering what positives there are will help put the negatives into perspective for the season ahead. So what are they? Here are just a few.
It's so early in the season - even though Liverpool have had a poor start to the season it's just too early to push the panic button and write us off. We have a lot of time to recover plus I agree with Rafa that the top teams will falter sooner than later and in very short order we'll be back in the hunt.
Great players returning to fitness - Aurelio, Agger and Aquilani are all getting closer to full fitness and will add an immense amount of quality to the team. Aquilani is still an unknown quantity but from all accounts he'll be a winner.
Glen Johnson - what an outstanding player and astute buy he's turning out to be. He has an attacking mentality and will score and create a lot of goals this season.
Pepe Reina - he's the best goalkeeper in the league and has had an outstanding start to the season. Pepe could be the key to Liverpool winning the Premiership this year.
Rafa - there's no question Benitez is an excellent manager and although some of his decisions can be frustrating he's still the man to bring the Premiership title back to Anfield where it belongs.
El Nino - Liverpool have the greatest striker on the planet in Torres and even though his body language in the first few games seemed a bit off he's still scoring goals and he will only get better.
Stevie G - need I say more.
So these are just some of the positives to consider. Got a few of your own?

Michael Shields is free!
I think probably THE biggest positive we can take on top of the ones already mentioned.
With that beautiful mans name finally cleared of any wrong doing we can march together as one, as brothers, to the league!
