so, we just drawn with city. Its now very clear to me why we aren't winning. One thing, as was clearly evident today - injuries, and the disruption they cause. In this match alone we lost Agger and Babel, had Gerrard not completely fit, and brought on Benayoun not fully fit but both with not choice but to play. The resulting disruption in defence is clear for everyone to see. Carra loses his regular partner, and then has questions in his head cos of not being with his regular partner. And now its happening all over the pitch!
I think we must say goodbye to this season as far as the league is concerned, and focus on 2 things - 1, getting our players fully fit. 2, in January and in the summer, signing several players to bulk up our squad so that next season we'll have not just 22 players but much more, and then we'll cope if we ever suffer injury problems like this again
