Liverpool Echo - Fernando Torres injury latest, Kuyt praised, new medical staff
It was initially feared the Reds' star striker had damaged his hamstring when he pulled up lame during Spain's 1-0 defeat of Holland in the World Cup final on Sunday night.
However, it has subsequently emerged Torres has an adductor problem and, following yesterday's Madrid homecoming, he is set to undergo a scan today to ascertain the extent of the injury.
