Roy the Ripper

Fog was swirling around Anfield last night. It was quiet. You could have heard a pin drop. A sense of unease was in the cold night air. Furtive shadows drifted in and out of view (enough of Ryan Babel. Ed).
The howl of Wolves filled the night sky. A cold terror gripped the soul. The heart of LFC was being torn out.
Roy the Ripper had struck. Again.
I suppose you've got to laugh. Haven't you?
We've just lost at home to the team at the bottom of the league but Roy reckons we deserved a draw..at home. Against the team at the bottom of the league..
We all know what's wrong with this picture but it seems the chaps at NESV don't.
A manager who took us to two Champions League finals in three years got sacked before this season started. By our last illustrious owners who had spent three years raping the club financially.
For our sins we then got Mr.Hodgson. Manager of the year apparently.
Some of us rubbed our chins over that decision.
Roy has spent the majority of this season furiously rubbing his.
I think he hopes there is a genie in it that will grant him three wishes.
If I had three wishes, I'd wish for Roy to leave.
Depart. Resign. Get Lost.
Had enough now you see. The atmosphere at Anfield last night was the worst I've ever experienced and I've been a season ticket holder for over thirty years.
I'm sorry but I know I speak for the vast majority of Liverpool supporters (at least 96% according to the last internet poll I saw) when I say Roy Must Go.
I hope those people at the club - and in the team - who wanted Rafa out (and some of the internet forums think they know who you are) are happy now. I hope some of the local ex-players who have had a go at Rafa since he departed are happy.
I'll tell you who aren't happy. The fans.
Us mugs that actually pay to get in.
Hodgson thinks he was left all sorts of problems to sort out by Rafa.
Rubbish. Rafa didn't buy Poulsen. He didn't buy Konchesky. He didn't buy Joe Cole - the best paid bench warmer in the Premiership. He didn't tell Pepe Reina to hoof the ball up the pitch all night against the bottom club in the Premiership. You did that Roy.
A few weeks back there was a phone in on LFC TV with John Henry and Tom Werner. It was something of a joke in that you had to tell the call screeners lies to get the opportunity to say what you really thought. Eventually one guy got through and told Mr.Henry and Mr.Werner what the vast majority of us are thinking. Roy Hodgson is not the right man. It is time for him to go.
How far have we got to fall before NESV act? Or are they just Hicks and Gillett by another name?
I'll leave the last comment on the evening to the steward I overheard when I was leaving the stadium.
"It's just ale house football".
Enough said.
And if this goes on more and more supporters will opt to watch the game in the ale house.
Time to act Mr.Henry.

Bye Roy
Great article and makes the point very clear, I was against the removal of Rafa and horrified at Roy's appointment as I thought we would finish top 10, Roy's level but it's unlikely that we will even manage that. His buys have been poor and whilst no one gets its 100% right Hodgeson has got his 4 buys wrong and that's 0%. He can not be trusted to spend any cash in January, he can't even get a goal out of one of the worlds best strikers.
His tactics are woeful, the team lack any desire to move off the ballband most passes and 1st touches are back, can score that way but if your aiming for a 0-0 at home to the bottom of the league then why bother.
Ohh finally Noel, whilst Rafa isn't perfect and cares what he does in his six months at Inter he won 2 trophies, we lost to Northampton Town.
Walk On
We have tried to be patient with Roy and by extension, with NESV. However, most other "big & ambitious" clubs would've sacked their manager for the below (so I await your action, as late as it is NESV):
1) Having the team in the relegation zone for the first time in decades
2) Losing to a 4th-division/level team
3) Losing to the newest team in the division (with the cheapest squad) at HOME
4) Losing to our derby rivals and smiling about it afterwards and saying that we were the better team (when we clearly were'nt)
5) Being in the bottom half of the table with a Negative Goal Difference at Xmas for the first time in decades
6) Downplaying (both before & after) games what LFC's EXPECTATIONS should be against teams that have'nt beaten us in DECADES!
7) Decrying the quality of a squad that had MORE players at the World Cup than ANY other Prem. team
8) Having that same squad lose 25% more league games (8) than they've won mid-way thru the season, and 50% more than they've drawn (even tho the $ value of LFC's team was higher than all but a couple of those 8 teams)
9) Publicly criticising players, and not defending them against outside attacks
10) Blaming everything & everyone else
11) Falsely saying that no other manager could do better when we had a POOR last season that was still MILES better than this one
12) Saying that our Greatest ever player (who's also our 3rd most successful Mgr) should never have been considered for the job he's f..king up.
13) Not showing that a Manager is not just supposed to pick the team and set it out at the start (as bad as that has been itself)...but showing an INABILITY to change a game by changing players and/or tactics when NEEDED!.
14) Losing to the LAST PLACED team AT HOME (who also had the WORST AWAY record), even tho their much smaller squad had LESS than 3 days to recover from their last game.
15) CRITICISING fans who JUSTIFIABLY protested against the previous owners and/or the current Manager!
DO YOUR DUTY NESV (cause ROY DOES'NT have the class or dignity), or you will LOSE what little of the Goodwill your takeover bought from us!
heres the "woy out campaign" .."Kenny or Rafa but either way - hodgson dont stay"
hes a fraud, who was employed by fraudsters who occupied OUR club...
when we lose now, to anyone , the problem is, that with hodgson, its not a shock, because he tells everyone how great the OTHER teams are!
he couldnt motivate a drowning man to get on a lifeboat!..watching LFC at distance is like having a birds eye view of the titanic approaching the ice berg, scereaming out a warning but then watch it zig-zagging but accelerating faster towards the end..he is a fulham level manager, & there is an obvious (xenophobic) agenda in the english media to keep hodgdon,
if we were prepared to campaign to get rid of Hicks & co off the park, why dont we get off our backsides an campaign to get rid of the man who is ruining our club ON the park
In 40+ years of Supporting the Reds, he is the worst!
WE , global REDS, supporters must make sure he goes...now! ..tell the CLUB !!!
Shanks: if you can't make decisions in life, you're a bloody menace. You'd be better becoming an MP!'
(note 4 woy)
they will (again!) say "give (judge me after 10 games) hodgson time" , yeah, how about in walton jail for impersonating a Liverpool manager?(FS)
grnde force liverpool fan from Naples
will emerge from this crisis
