Would you shed a tear if Kuyt left Liverpool?

The rumour-mill has it that Dirk Kuyt is pondering his future at Anfield and is considering a move to Rafa Benitez's new club, Inter Milan, after a £15million bid last week. The fact that Rafa wants Kuyt should be no surprise to anyone as he could have had a broken ankle and he would have still been in Benitez's starting eleven.

Hodgson, after his conversation with Milan's owner Massimo Moratti, says there is no offer on the table for Kuyt, or indeed Mascherano. However, Kuyt was told there was faxed offer for him made last week and he now feels he is in the "luxury situation" of choosing between Liverpool and Inter Milan, according to an interview with a Dutch newspaper.

So if Kuyt were to leave would you shed a tear? Kuyt is a work horse, no question, but he also happens to be one the most frustrating players in the Liverpool squad. He's either arriving early or late for crosses into the box, has the first instinct to pass the ball back and so often loses possession. Kuyt has had some excellent games for Liverpool but I would not be upset to if he decided to leave Anfield.

No buy ardan turan or ben arfa as replacement, they are far better than kuyt

Granted, Kuyt is no tactical genius. But I remember cheering for players who gave their all for the team, not talented prima donnas who decides when to show up for the game (or semi-talented part-timers who let frustration take over their legs). So, despite his shortcomings, I would be sad to see him go.

Kuyt's Goal record in 4 seasons with Liverpool: 14-11-15-11.
He played as a right winger in last 3 seasons. Not bad for a player that arrived for 10 million pounds, ha? Add his stamina and amount of defensive work on the field and see that he is one of 5 players we can't afford to lose: Reina, Carragher, Gerrard, Torres and Kuyt.
I wouldn't shed a tear if Barry Ringstead stopped writing idiotic articles less than a week before transfer window is closed, that's for sure.

P.S. People talking about Arda Turan and Ben Arfa - go play Football Manager and don't confuse your computer game knowledge with real life football!

"Fulham hoping to tie up Salcideo deal to replace Liverpool bound Konchesky" - Why the hell aren't we buying Salcido?? He's one of the best left backs in the world. Fulham must be laughing their arses off.

Kuyt loses the ball often? Really? He's passionate, hardworking, holds the ball better than credited, provides endless assists, works his buns off defensively, is a wonderful example to the youngsters, and NEVER let's his head drop. Would I miss him or shed a tear on his departure? C'mon, and stop recycling media bull.
